Are your air fresheners doing harm to your guests?

As we are moving towards more green products, one thing to keep in mind is air fresheners. Many air fresheners contain nerve-deadening chemicals that coat your nasal passages and temporarily block your sense of smell. Some of the most offensive ingredients, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), benzene and formaldehyde, can cause headaches, nausea and may even aggravate asthma; in addition, these harmful ingredients have been linked to neurological damage and cancer.

A preventative measure to ensure guest safety is to utilize air fresheners free of VOC’s. Thus, when dealing with your air freshener providers such as TC®, TimeMist®, Ecolab®, Hospeco®, Kimberly-Clark®, Vectair® and many more, ask for air fresheners free of VOC’s.

Hope this was helpful, have a great day.
